The information we collect

Information you provide through our website When you complete our contact form or care assessment request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you choose to share about your care needs or situation.


Health information When you become a client, or during a care assessment, we may collect health-related information necessary to plan and deliver safe, appropriate care. This may include medical history, medications, mobility and care needs, and information relevant to your care plan. We treat this information with the highest level of confidentiality and collect only what is necessary to provide our services.


Payment information When you become a client, payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card or bank details on our own systems — these are handled directly and securely by Stripe.


Information collected automatically When you visit our website, limited technical information may be collected through Framer Analytics, the privacy-focused analytics built into our website platform. This may include general data such as page views, approximate region, device type, and referring source. Framer Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use invasive cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and care assessment requests

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver home care services

  • Communicate with you about your care or our services

  • Process payments for services provided

  • Send newsletters and updates, where you have agreed to receive them

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and with your consent, as required by PIPA.

By providing your information through our website or in the course of receiving our services, you consent to our collecting, using, and disclosing it as described in this policy. For health information and care services, we obtain your consent through our intake and care assessment process.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services to you.

When we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

With service providers We use trusted third-party providers to operate our business. These include Framer (website hosting and analytics), Microsoft 365 (email and document management), and Stripe (payment processing). These providers may process information on our behalf and are required to protect it.

For CDHCI and funded care If you access care through the Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program, we may share necessary information with Alberta Health Services and Alberta Blue Cross to administer your funded care, with your consent.

For legal reasons We may disclose information where required by law, by a court order, or by a valid request from a public authority, or where necessary to protect the safety of an individual or to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

With your consent We may share your information for any other purpose with your consent.

Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers may store or process information on servers located outside Alberta or Canada. Where this occurs, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely and in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is processed.

How long we keep your information

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required to meet our legal, regulatory, insurance, and contractual obligations. Health and care records are retained in accordance with applicable Alberta requirements. When information is no longer required, we securely destroy or anonymize it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Access to health and client information is limited to those who need it to provide or coordinate your care. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under Alberta's PIPA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits

  • Ask questions about how your information is handled

Email communications
